Quinn drank her first bottle today. I'm so torn between the relief of a tiny break from nursing and the heartbreak I felt watching her gleefully chug down the 2 oz. of milk, belch and pass out. Intellectually I really want Megan to be able to feed her. I want her to have that bond -- I'm just going to have to get used to the idea of sharing her.
One thing we learned -- we certainly don't need to worry about her refusing a bottle. I'm a little worried about the bottle changing how she will latch onto me. I've nursed once since then and she came at me with her lips puckered up. We had a brief discussion about what she is supposed to do and I think we have it all worked out now. *fingers crossed* Now, I just need to be able to up my amount I'm getting when I pump so that Megan can do this on a more regular basis.
I've been messing around with my 2 week trial of Trixie Tracker.
