Some friends at work (mostly straight) came up with the idea to have a George Michael float in the pride parade. My one friend LURVES GM. A friend was retiring and so somehow this was seen as a fabulous send-off (not that the retiring friend really had much of an opinion at all about GM). It somewhat spiraled out of control and thus the "George Michael Fan Club: Columbus Chapter" was born. They made 52 George Michael masks to hand out (you might have seen some in meglett's journal. I think that the sign looks awfully darn professional. Anyway, here are some pictures. I keep finding pictures at flickr that people too OF us. I'll include a couple so you can see how we looked while chasing toddlers down High St.
