This post is in honor of Blogging for LGBT Families Day
Check out the link and add your own post to the collection. The day was selected because it is halfway between mom's day and dad's day.
I have very little time to post because it is 3 am and I'm doing the kill-time-until-I-can-pump thing. Hopefully tomorrow I will have a chance to elaborate on this topic, but in all likelihood member number 3 of our little family won't give me a chance to type anything coherent.
The main news I have to report is that Quinn is still gaining at a good clip. I weighed her on Tuesday and she was up to 7 pounds, 9.5 ounces from 7 pounds, 3.9 ounces on Friday. I keep thinking we're reaching the end of the supplementation, but she keeps getting hungrier as she gets bigger (duh!). I seem to be able to keep up with the growth, but not keep up overall. She's still getting between 1 and 5 ounces of formula every day, with the average being 2 or 3 ounces. This means that she is likely getting at least 20 ounces of milk from me every day. I just need to focus on this when I get frustrated with the bod letting me down.
OK, time to pump so that I can get back upstairs with my girls.
